A man who helped shape WBNS-10TV died Monday.
John Haldi, who worked at 10TV for 42 years, passed away Monday afternoon at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
As program director, Haldi helped create local programming and worked on shows like “Luci’s Toyshop” and “Flippo the Clown.” He also came up with the idea of showing featured films on Channel 10.
Haldi retired in 1991.
