A Hocking County community came together Thursday night to remember a woman who was slain one year ago.

Summer Inman's husband, William, and his parents are accused of strangling her and hiding her body in a church septic tank.

Inman, 25, was a mother of three.

Inman's family and friends gathered Thursday night at Worthington Park in Logan to honor her memory, 10TV's Justin Moss reported.

Inman's father, Michael Cook, said that the past year felt long.

"I lost my dad two years before this and it was a short year. Seemed like it went by right away," said Cook. "But, losing a child is a completely different story."

Inman’s mother-in-law, father-in-law and estranged husband are set to stand trial, and each is charged with murder.

Both men face the death penalty if convicted, Moss reported.
