Police will turn on a new red light camera at the intersection of Hilliard-Rome Road and Renner Road Wednesday night.
The camera will be used to catch drivers illegally running red lights at the intersection, 10TV News reported.
The city has cameras at more than 30 intersections and is in the process of expanding the program.
Columbus raised more than $1 Million from tickets in 2011 alone, 10TV News reported.
Police will issue warnings to anyone caught on camera running a red light at Hilliard-Rome Road and
Renner Road for the next 30 days.
$95 tickets will be issued starting April 14. 10TV News reported.
