Investigators were searching for the man who robbed an Easton-area fast-food restaurant Sunday night.
According to police, the man walked into the Burger King restaurant, located at 4060 Morse Crossing, at about 8:30 p.m. and brandished a semi-automatic handgun.
An employee fled the restaurant after the man approached her and demanded money, 10TV’s Tino Ramos reported.
After the employee left, the man jumped the counter and led a manager to the cash register.
The manager complied and the man fled the scene with the money, Ramos reported.
Police said that the employee who fled the scene ran across the street and contacted police.
Police described the man as black and in his mid to late 30s. According to police, the man had a patchy beard, chubby cheeks and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with white writing on the front. He was also wearing blue jeans, light brown boots and black and white gloves.
