Coyote Concerns Prompt Meeting In Delaware

Delaware city officials will host a meeting Wednesday night to educate the public about urban coyotes, 10TV News reported on Tuesday.

Marne Titchenell, Extension Wildlife Specialist for The Ohio State University Extension School of Environment and Natural Resources, will be the speaker.

Titchenell will speak at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Delaware Community Center YMCA Community Room, located at 1121 South Houk Rd.

Officials said that the meeting was scheduled in response to public interest.

Admission is free.

Experts told 10TV late January through February is the mating season for coyotes.
