A mother said on Tuesday that she came face-to-face with a man who was trying to rob her house.
According to Maria Takacs, she and her 2-year-old and 6-month-old children were inside their South Hague Avenue home on Monday morning when she heard a noise.
She said that a man broke into her house by climbing through an unlocked window, 10TV News reported.
Takacs said that she came face-to-face with the robber, and when she screamed, he ran away.
“You don’t think that will ever happen to you or (your) kids,” Takacs said.
Takacs said that police officers responded quickly but could not locate the man.
