A local t-shirt company created special t-shirts to commemorate the milestone of Ohio hero John Glenn.
Monday marked the 50th anniversary of the Friendship 7 Mission, when Glenn became the first man to orbit the earth.
Homage started selling t-shirts to help people to celebrate the accomplishment.
The front of the t-shirt said, “Welcome Back To Earth, Glenn.”
The astronaut will be in Columbus on Monday to take part in several events honoring the anniversary.
