Investigators said tests confirmed that the remains found at a home in Lima are those of a 14-year-old girl who disappeared more than a decade ago.

Nicholle Coppler left her house in May 1999 and never came home, 10TV News reported.

Crews were preparing the home for demolition earlier this month when they found the remains.

The home was once owned by Glen Fryer, who was long suspected in Coppler's disappearance.

Fryer committed suicide in prison in 2002 while serving time for raping a 12-year-old girl.
