Investigators said Friday that they tracked down a man who allegedly kidnapped the same woman twice.
The U.S. Marshals Service said that William Johnson was out on bond on an aggravated burglary and abduction case when he found his previous victim, kidnapped and assaulted her on Wednesday.
Investigators said that the victim, who was not identified, identified Johnson, 44, as her assailant.
A tip led investigators to a home on Martha Avenue on Thursday, where the victim's stolen car was found parked. The tipster told police that a man inside the house yelled that he had a gun.
When police arrived on the scene, Johnson was nowhere to be found.
Investigators said that they found Johnson hiding in the back of a room at a Motel 6, located at 555 N. Trimble Rd., where he attempted to barricade himself.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers shut down state Route 403 temporarily while investigators went into the room and arrested Johnson.
Police arrested three of the victim's family members were at the motel, after they were found to be illegally carrying handguns.
Officers said that they did not know why the victim's family members were carrying firearms at the scene.
