Rig Crash Causes 5 Mile Back-Up On I-71 North In Pickaway County

Officials said that Interstate 71 north, north of state Route 56 was reopened after an early morning crash.

According to police, the rig crashed into a guardrail near mile marker 88 just before 6:30 a.m.

There were no immediate reports of injuries, 10TV's Karina Nova reported.

Traffic was backed up more than 5 miles while crews worked to clear the road.

All lanes were reopened just after 9:30 a.m., Nova reported.
