Family and friends of Amy Aldrich gathered for a vigil on Tuesday and pleaded for help in finding her killer.
"It's Valentine's Day. This is a day of love," Aldrich's aunt, Brenda Cook, said. "We love her and we're not going to give up until we find the person that did this."
Aldrich, 30, a mother of three, was found shot to death on Bartrum Ave. in Marion last week, 10TV's Jason Frazer reported.
"I want whoever pulled the trigger to pay," Aldrich's brother, Charles Dunn, said.
"I'm emotional. I'm a wreck. I'm not well," said Aldrich's cousin, Sarah Smith.
Smith's daughter was the one who discovered Aldrich shot to death inside their home, Frazer reported.
The vigil ended with a pray for Aldrich to rest in peace, and another that her killer would be caught.
"Anybody that might have seen anything please come forward. If this was your niece, daughter or mother, you would want somebody to do that," Cook said.
The family was scheduled to say their final farewell during a service at the Calvary Baptist Church in Marion on Wednesday, Frazer reported.
No arrests have been made in the case.
