The attorney who set off a chain of events that led to the downfall of former Ohio State Football Coach Jim Tressel could have his law license suspended, 10TV News reported on Tuesday.
Chris Cicero could face a six-month law license suspension after he sent Tressel a number of e-mails to warn him that players were swapping Ohio State items for tattoos.
The information sent came from a prospective client who was seeking advice, 10TV News reported.
It is against professional rules of conduct for an attorney to disclose private client conversations.
Cicero has 20 days to dispute the recommendation.
