Man Slain While Helping Friend, Reward Offered For Information

Investigators looked to the public for help on Sunday in gathering information in a man’s death.

According to investigators, Haarun Phillips was shot on April 15. while helping a friend move a television on Mayfair Boulevard. Several men allegedly approached Phillips and his friend; two pulled guns and started shooting.

Phillips, 21, died after he was struck by gunfire.

Crime Stoppers has offered up to $2,000 for information received by Feb. 22 that leads to the arrest or indictment of those responsible in Phillips’ death.
