Investigators approach the Farrington Dr. home where a man says he has a weapon. The man's call to a mental health agency prompted the lockdown of three Worthington schools.

The lockdown at three schools was lifted after a man in a nearby home claimed to have a weapon.

Thomas Worthington High School, Evening Street Elementary School and Kilbourne Middle School were all placed under lockdown just before noon while investigators worked to diffuse an incident at a nearby home.

According to police, a man who lives in a home located on Farrington Drive called a mental health agency and told them he had a weapon. Investigators said that the man was removed from the home at about 12:30 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.
