Flurries, Below-Freezing Temperatures On Hand For Weekend

Tonight’s temperature will drop as the snow continues.

One to 2 inches of accumulation is expected overnight Friday, which will see a low temperature of 18 degrees.

The cold will continue on Saturday with snow showers early leading to an additional 1 inch of accumulation, Doppler 10 chief meteorologist Chris Bradley said.

A winter weather advisory is in effect south of Columbus from 3 p.m. Friday through noon Saturday for the following counties:

    Athens
    Coshocton
    Fairfield
    Fayette
    Guernsey
    Hocking
    Jackson
    Morgan
    Muskingum
    Perry
    Pickaway
    Pike
    Ross
    Scioto
    Vinton
    Washington

Saturday’s high will reach 19 degrees with wind child readings below zero.

The sun will peek out on Sunday, but cold temperatures will stay with a high of 25 degrees.
