Emergency crews rushed to the casino construction site Friday morning after a piece of equipment fell on a worker.
The 53-year-old worker was on the first floor of the Hollywood Casino located at Georgesville Road and West Broad Street at about 8:30 a.m when a forklift weighing about 1,000 lbs fell on him, 10TV's Tino Ramos reported.
Investigators said that the worker suffered only minor cuts and scrapes. He was transported for medical attention and was expected to survive his injuries.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
