A Newark boy was hospitalized on Thursday after being struck by a truck.
Police said that Austin Day, 13, was riding a bike on North Cedar Street in Newark at 6:36 a.m. when a truck struck him.
According to officers, the truck dragged Day at least 120 feet.
Day was listed in critical condition Thursday afternoon, 10TV News reported.
Newark police said that truck driver had a stop sign and Day did not.
Officers have not filed any charges.
