Two Sex Offenders Sought For Failing To Register

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that it was working to track down the whereabouts of two sex offenders.

Jeramie Morris and Troy Peters both failed to report their latest addresses, CrimeTracker10's Angela An reported.

Morris, 29, is a habitual sex offender and was convicted of corrupting a minor.  

This was not the first time Morris failed to register. He was convicted of the same crime in 2009, An reported.

Investigators said that Morris' last known address is on 151 N. 6th Street in Columbus.

Morris is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 160 lbs.

Peters, 54, was labeled a sexual predator after a conviction against a female child, An reported. He is a self-described handyman.

Peters has several tattoos including a sword, heart and rose on his right arm and a wizard on his left arm.

He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 210 lbs.

Peters' last known address was 794 E. Mound St.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any tip offered to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 or visit their Web site and e-mail a tip. Text tips can be sent to "274637" with key word "CMH."
