A man was hospitalized Monday morning after he was allegedly assaulted and robbed behind a north side restaurant.
The victim told police that he was beaten and robbed behind the Oakland Park Bar and Grill, located at 1427 Oakland Park Ave., at about 2:30 a.m., 10TV’s Shayla Reaves reported.
The victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said that five men allegedly jumped into the victim’s 1995 Chevy Tahoe and took off.
