Central Ohio Crime Stoppers was offering up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrests of the people responsible for three break-ins at a Madison County convenience store.

According to police, three break-ins took place last year at the Fitzy’s One Stop Convenience Shop on state Route 38 in the Village of Plumwood.

The break-ins occurred on Jan. 2, July 4 and July 31, 2011, 10TV News reported.

During one of the break-ins, two men were seen on surveillance video entering the office area of the store and setting their burglary tools, including a 4-foot pry bar, on nearby tables.

Investigators said that the store’s safe was broken into and the petty cash box was removed.

Cigarettes, cash and cans of chewing tobacco were targets in another one of the break-ins, 10TV News reported.

One of the men was described as being about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds with a short, scruffy beard and a picture tattoo on his neck and another large tattoo on his left calf.

The other man was described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 220 pounds

Anyone with information in any of the break-ins is asked to contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-645-8477.
