A woman was killed and six people, including children, were injured after troopers said a pick-up truck traveled left of center on Saturday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a silver Chevrolet with three people in the car was struck at about 10:30 a.m. on Northwest Parkway near Poling Road.

Annette A. Crabtree, 76, a passenger in the car driven by Ralph Crabtree, died after the crash.

Ralph Crabtree, 77, and a 6-year-old girl were transported to Union County Memorial Hospital and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

Troopers said it appeared that a pick-up truck, driven by Karen Kohls, 36, lost control and crossed the median.

Kohls was taken to Union County Memorial Hospital, and three young children, ages, 6, 4, and 2, were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Troopers said that the crash appeared to be weather-related.

The identities and conditions of those involved were not immediately released.
