A man was taken to The Ohio State University Medical center on Friday night after reports that the he was shot in the back.
According to police, the man was shot after being approached near a market on the 3000 block of Maize Road near Dunedin Road on the city's north side.
The shooting happened at about 9:50 p.m., 10TV News reported.
The condition and identity of the man shot were not immediately released,, but police said the man was expected to survive.
