The Columbus Health Department could close the Steak Escape inside the Mall at Tuttle Crossing because of health code violations, 10TV News reported on Wednesday.

10 Investigates found at least 15 violations since December including failure to maintain proper temperatures on food and failure to wash hands.

The Health Department views the violations as critical.

The restaurant and Health Department argued their sides to an arbitrator Wednesday, 10TV News reported.

A decision on the restaurant’s status could take several weeks.
