The man who was allegedly responsible for a bank robbery which prompted the lockdown of several schools and whose possible sighting put a university on alert turned himself in Sunday.
Billy Caudill allegedly robbed the Peoples Bank, located at 55 High St. in Carroll, shortly after 10 a.m. on Jan 25.
Two days later, Ohio University police put students on alert after Caudill, 43, was allegedly spotted in the area of Union and Shaffer streets.
Caudhill was taken into custody at the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office.
