Police said on Friday that the department has installed next-generation dashboard cameras in its police cruisers.
The cameras give a clearer picture of any crime or emergency an officer encounters, 10TV News reported.
Grandview police said the new cameras mean the department no longer has to deal with tapes.
The video is digital and can be downloaded from the car into a database.
