More Grandview Heights High School students will soon be eligible for physical education waivers, 10TV News reported Friday.
Superintendent Ed O'Reilly said that students involved in sports, cheerleading or band for two years or more will be allowed to waive one of their two required gym classes.
The policy will take effect next school year.
O'Reilly said that the school has had a similar policy in effect since 2007, but the new policy will be less strict and less complicated.
