Kevin Miles will resign as president of Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, 10TV News reported on Friday.
The news came days after the organization announced the results of an internal financial review which it said found no improprieties.
Crime Stoppers board member Jeff Milgrom told 10TV News that two audits were scheduled to get under way next week.
The organization is hiring an outside firm to examine its 2011 expenses.
The Columbus city auditor’s office is also planning to audit Crime Stoppers, 10TV News reported.
Miles has worked with Crime Stoppers for 26 years and has been president for eight of the years.
Miles was not immediately available for comment.
