A new tune was played in downtown Columbus on Thursday in celebration of the city's bicentennial.
The bells at the Trinity Episcopal Church debuted a piece on Thursday called "Double Century Doubles" that was composed for Columbus' 200th Birthday, 10TV News reported.
"I wanted to use a little tradition in the background of the sound, but also to put in some tunes that mean something to people in Columbus -- hymn tunes, folk tunes and so on," composer Sheena Phillips said.
The bells will play the composition every day for the next month.
