Authorities on Sunday were looking for a man who they said vanished during a hunting trip and was reported missing on Friday.
Stephen Dempsey was last seen on Jan. 9 heading to some hunting property in Londonderry near the Ross/Vinton County Line on Old State Route 50, 10TV News reported.
Dempsey's family reported him as missing on Jan. 13 because they had not heard from him.
The Vinton County Sheriff's Office said deputies found Dempsey's vehicle and other personal items at his campsite.
However, investigators did not find any sign of Dempsey, 53, himself.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Dempsey is 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds.
