The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said that a fire truck overturned in Thornville on Monday afternoon.
According to investigators, the Glenford Hopewell Township Fire Department tanker overturned while responding to a fire near state Route 13 and High Point Road at about 1 p.m.
High Point Road was closed because of the crash, 10TV News reported.
According to the fire department, two firefighters were transported to the Fairfield Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
The two firefighters were walking after the crash, 10TV News reported.
It was not immediately known what time the road would reopen.
