Third and Fourth streets downtown between Main and Rich streets were reopened after a suspicious package investigation on Friday afternoon.
The streets reopened at about 4:45 and were closed for about 1 1/2 hours, 10TV News reported.
Police said that people in the area were evacuated while officials investigated the package.
According to investigators, the package was not dangerous.
