A good Samaritan found a cat wandering in Delaware County with an arrow through its body on Thursday.

The person took the female cat to the Delaware County Humane Society, where a doctor removed the arrow, 10TV News reported.

The cat did not have a collar or microchip, and authorities have not been alerted, the veterinarian said.

The veterinarian said that she planned to take the cat home to be monitored and does plan on calling authorities.
