UPDATED: Friday December 9, 2011 11:48 AM

Law enforcement officials said Friday that two recent Huntington Bank robberies on the city's north side are related.

Investigators said that a robbery on Nov. 17 at a Huntington Bank, located at 7955 N. High St. in Columbus, and another on Dec. 2 at a Huntington Bank, located at 8671 Owenfield Dr. in Powell, were committed by the same person.

In each of the robberies, a person described as a while male in his 30s to 40s and about 5 feet 10 inches tall, walked into the bank with a dark duffel bag and demanded tellers place money into the bag, 10TV News reported.

During the Powell robbery, the man pointed a dark semi-automatic pistol at the tellers, investigators said.

Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to contact the Columbus Division of Police, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the FBI or Crime Stoppers.

There is a reward of up to $5,000 for anyone who provides information leading to the identification or arrest of the individual.
