Man Tied To Craigslist Investigation Charged With 15 Prostitution-Related Counts

The man linked to the Craigslist slaying investigation was indicted on unrelated charges on Wednesday on unrelated charges.

Richard Beasley, 52, was charged with 15 felony counts of compelling or promoting prostitution, 10TV News reported.

One of the counts filed today accused Beasley of prostituting a 17-year-old boy.

Beasley is tied to a plot to lure men by using a Craigslist advertisement for a job, 10TV News reported.

Brogan Rafferty, 16, was charged with the murder of 51-year-old David Pauley of Virginia and the attempted murder of Scott Davis of South Carolina.

On Wednesday, A pastor and close friend of Pauley said that the FBI traced Pauley’s whereabouts using an email he sent to his family.

Pastor Kenny Bryant is from the Tabernacle Church in Norfolk, Va. said Wednesday the brother and ex-wife of David Pauley grew concerned after not hearing from Pauley once he arrived in Ohio last month.    

Beasley has not been charged in the Craigslist killings case. Police identified him as Rafferty’s mentor.

Following a court appearance on Tuesday, Rafferty told 10TV News that he did nothing wrong.

Beasley has not been charged in the Craigslist slaying case.
