Chopper 10 was overhead as authorities searched a wooded area in Noble County and placed what appeared a be a body bag in an ambulance on Friday.
In a statement, the Noble County Sheriff's Office confirmed that they recovered the body of a white man. The identity of the man was not immediately available.
The body was transported to the Licking County Coroner's Office where an autopsy will be performed, 10TV's Justin Moss reported.
The search was in the same area where last week, Noble County investigators reported two-out-of-state men had been lured after they answered a job posting on Craigslist.
One of the men was shot and killed, the other was also shot but he managed to escape, Moss reported.
Authorities tied the plot to Brogan Rafferty, 16, and Richard Beasley, 52, who allegedly met through a Bible study group.
Rafferty faced attempted murder charges and Beasley is in custody on unrelated charges.
Authorities involved in the case were under a gag order and could not comment on the case.
