Voters overwhelmingly retained Michael B. Coleman as Columbus mayor for a fourth term, 10TV News reported on Tuesday night.

Projections showed Coleman, a Democrat, was handily out in front of Republican challenger Earl Smith.

If he completes his fourth term, Coleman will become the longest-serving mayor of the city.
