Search Continues For Driver Involved In Crash That Killed 2

Police were searching for the driver who caused a crash that killed two women early Sunday and left another woman in critical condition.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. off Wilson Road, north of West Broad Street, 10TV's Shayla Reaves reported.

Franklin County sheriff's deputies said that two cars collided head-on.

According to police, Marianna Zhumi, 29, was pronounded dead on the scene and Maria Garcia, 26, was pronounced dead at Mount Carmel West.

Maria Saico was in critical condition at Grant Medical Center, according to police.

According to police, Zhumi was driving when they were struck by a red Chevrolet Trailblazer. All three victims were returning home from work at the time of the crash.

Police said alcohol was considered to be a factor in the crash.
