School Bus Collides With Vehicle, Sending 8 To Hospital

Police were investigating a school bus crash on Tuesday.

Police said the crash, which involved a Madison Township school bus, occurred on Tuesday morning on South Illinois Avenue.

According to police, Christopher Kitts, 19, was traveling on South Illinois Avenue when his car traveled left of center and head on into the school bus carrying 38 junior high and elementary
school students.

Kitts was transported to MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield as were six students, police said.

Police said one student was taken to MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield by parents.

Kitts was cited for driving left of center, police said that the investigation suggests he may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
