School administrators reviewed a piece of video on Monday that surfaced online showing two students exchanging punches.
The fight happened inside a gym locker room at Groveport Madison High School, 10TV’s Glenn McEntyre reported.
The fight was recorded on video and showed about 12 students observing the scuffle.
Groveport Madison Dean Rich Playko said that the fight appeared to go beyond a case of bullying or harassment.
“It looks like it's organized,” Playko said. “More of a fight club type of thing.”
The video of the fight was posted on Facebook on Sept. 23, McEntyre reported.
School administrators were working to determine which students were there to watch the fight.
“We are going to deal with it in a very harsh manner, we will not tolerate it,” Playko said. “It's unacceptable no matter what it is, forced or bullying or agreed upon, it's unacceptable behavior."
Playko said that the students involved in the altercation could face expulsion, McEntyre reported.
