The Dr. Oz Show, hosted by the two-time Emmy winner Dr. Mehmet Oz, will be joining WBNS-10TV's powerful daytime line-up on September 12, 2011. The popular TV show provides medical advice from Dr. Oz who served as the health expert on the Oprah Winfrey show from 2004 to 2009, when he launched his own syndicated program.
The Dr. Oz Show facilitates discussions on health and delivers informative, life- changing tips in an entertainment format.
Oz has co-authored six New York Times Best Sellers and is currently a contributingeditor to Oprah's “O” Magazine. Dr. Oz is the vice-chair of the Department of Surgery and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and is a practicingsurgeon performing 100 heart operations annually.
Beginning September 12, viewers can see the following line-up on WBNS-10TV: 2 p.m.: The Talk; 3 p.m. Dr. Phil; 4 p.m.: Dr. Oz; 5pm: 10TV News HD @ 5; 6 p.m.: 10TVNews HD @ 6.
