Investigators were questioning some people about a rash of fires that occurred early Thursday.

At least 13 fires were reported on the city's south and east sides, 10TV's Tino Ramos reported.

A house fire was reported that forced a family outside, along with cars and trash can blazes.

The first fire calls were reported shortly after 1 a.m., Ramos reported.

Each location appeared to be signs of arson, including multiple fires that occurred on the same street.

"We got out," said Micki McGee, a homeowner whose house caught fire.  "People doing this need to get caught.  If we didn't wake up, our kids could have died.  This is ridiculous.  They need to stop this stuff."

No arrests were immediately made, Ramos reported.
