Robber Fires Gun During Robbery At West Side Waffle House

Police said that shots were fired Wednesday morning when two men robbed a west side Waffle House restaurant.

The robbery happened at about 5:30 a.m. the Waffle House on Westbelt Drive.

Witnesses told investigators that a pair of masked men stormed into the restaurant and demanded money.  One of the robbers fired his weapon, but he did not strike anyone, 10TV News reported.

The men then forced everyone inside a back room before they fled.

No arrests were made.
