A Dublin woman was charged with failing to stop at an accident and tampering with evidence in connection with the 2010 death of a bicyclist.
Amber Fernandez could face a maximum of 10-years behind bars, 10TV's Maureen Kocot reported.
Police said that on May 24, 2010, Fernandez, 34, struck Jeffrey Stevenson along Sawmill Road without stopping. Stevenson, 20, later died from his injuries.

"It's just hard," said Jackie Stevenson, Jeffrey's mother. "Jeff was my only child and his life was going so well."
Investigators said that a tip led them to Fernandez, who took her car to a body shop for front-end damage.
According to detectives, DNA recovered from the windshield was a match to Jeffrey Stevenson. Investigators said that there was not enough evidence to charge Fernandez with vehicular homicide because there were no witnesses and it would be tough to prove she caused the crash.
10TV News attempted to talk to Fernandez at her Dublin apartment but no one came to the door.
"It would be a terrible thing to carry around that you killed somebody," Jackie Stevenson said.
Fernandez has her first court appearance scheduled for later this month, Kocot reported.
