Several downtown streets will be closed as thousands of people take part in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday.
Some restrictions and closures will be put in place on Friday evening. East Broad Street, between High and Third streets, will close to traffic at 6 p.m. The road will remain closed until 3 p.m. on Saturday, the city said.
Front Street, between East Gay and East Town streets, and West Broad Street, between High Street and Civic Center Drive, will close Saturday at 6 a.m.
Roads along the race route will begin closing when the events begin at 8 a.m. There will be long rolling closures along the courses. Motorists were urged to use caution because of increased pedestrian traffic.

Mile Fun Walk Course:
- Begins at City Hall (Corner of Broad and Front streets)
- Northbound on North Front Street to East Nationwide Boulevard
- Eastbound on East Nationwide Boulevard to North High Street
- Southbound on North High Street to the Ohio Statehouse
5K Races/Walks Course:
- Begins at City Hall (Corner of Broad and Front streets)
- Northbound on North Front Street to West Long Street
- Westbound on West Long Street to Neil Avenue
- Northbound on Neil Avenue to Nationwide Boulevard
- Eastbound on Nationwide Boulevard to North Front/Park Street
- Northbound on Front/Park Street to West Goodale Street
- Westbound on West Goodale Street to Dennison Avenue
- Northbound on Dennison Avenue to Buttles Avenue
- Eastbound on Buttles Avenue to North High Street
- Southbound on North High Street to the Ohio Statehouse
