The shooting happened shortly before 11 a.m. on Genessee Avenue, 10TV's Danielle Elias reported.
According to Fraternal Order of Police president Jim Gilbert, one of the wounded officers was a sergeant, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. He was transported to Grant Medical Center.
A second police sergeant was transported to The Ohio State University Medical Center after he was grazed on the leg. He was also being treated for a heart condition, Elias reported.

The third injured officer suffered gunshot wounds to his legs, shoulder and ear. He was undergoing surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
All three were expected to be OK, Gilbert said.
The identity of the person who was shot and killed by police was not immediately released. Gilbert said it was possible that additional people were being sought in connection with the shooting.
The shooting late Saturday morning occurred after a pursuit involving Franklin County Sheriff's deputies, along with officers from other jurisdictions, Elias reported.
Someone inside the car fired shots at officers pursuing in cruisers and a foot chase followed, Gilbert said.
The officers were shot a short time later, Elias reported.
