'Anaconda Falls,' 'Python Plunge' Zoombezi Bay's Latest Slides

Zoombezi Bay will debut two new waterslides when it opens next month, officials announced on Tuesday.

The new slides, Anaconda Falls and Python Plunge, will be added to the water park, which is part of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, 10TV News reported.

Anaconda Falls is one of only six slides of its kind in the U.S. and the only one in Ohio, the zoo said.

It will whip riders from side to side and through an enclosed tunnel before going over a zero-gravity hill and ending in a landing pool.

Riders on the Python Plunge will accelerate before being blasted uphill on jetted water and then shot into a 70-foot long landing pool.

Zoombezi Bay opens daily, beginning May 28.
