Investigators, K9s Search 4 Counties For Missing Logan Mom

UPDATED: Monday March 28, 2011 12:16 PM

Law enforcement officers and search dogs spanned a four-county area on Sunday looking for a missing mother of three from Hocking County.

Summer Inman has not been heard from since Tuesday, after she was allegedly kidnapped by her estranged husband and his parents, 10TV News reported.

On Sunday, the FBI said investigators were using dogs to search Hocking, Perry, Morgan and Muskingum counties.

The FBI said the four-county area was searched based on tips from the public and locations of the known travel of the three people charged in Inman's disappearance.

On Saturday, investigators said they remain hopeful that Inman will be found alive, but said they are considering the possibility that she may have been seriously injured or killed.

Inman, 25, was allegedly forced into a car while in an alley behind a bank where she was working.

Her estranged husband, William A. Inman II, 26, and his parents, William, 47, and Sandra, 46, were arrested at their home in Jackson County on Thursday and charged with kidnapping.

They were being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.

The FBI has asked people in the Logan area to check their property, especially areas close to a roadway, for anything out of the ordinary.

On Friday investigators released surveillance photos showing Inman working inside the bank before she was kidnapped.  Investigators said they wanted people to see the clothes she was wearing in case they find any discarded items on their property.

Summer Inman married her now estranged husband in 2004. She has three children, all under the age of 5.

Summer Inman is 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.  She was last seen wearing jeans and a dark T-shirt with white writing.

Investigators said they continue to receive tips from the public and urged anyone with information on Inman's whereabouts to contact the Logan police department at 866-693-9171.
