Marion health officials were warning residents about businesses performing unauthorized tattoos and body piercings.
Officials said that the businesses have a greater chance of spreading infections, including Hepatitis, MRSA and HIV, 10TV News reported on Thursday.
Health officials said they have received complaints about unauthorized tattoo shops, including some located in people's homes.
