Williams' manager confirmed that he left rehab on Monday afternoon and was traveling to Los Angeles to work.
He entered a Texas rehab earlier this month with the help of talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw.
Williams was expected to stay at the facility for three months.
Williams appeared on Thursday's Dr. Phil show via telephone from rehab and discussed his latest issues.

He admitted that before he entered rehab he made a brief visit back to Columbus where he got
drunk.
On Friday's Dr. Phil show, Williams encouraged his girlfriend Kathy to take the offer of
rehab.
"I just want to say 'Kathy, go for it girl, we can come out of this sober,'" Williams said.
"And I can go for some of the offers that have been laid upon me, just know Kathy that I am there
for you too even though I'm here."
Williams' manager also said that he will not appear on the Dr. Phil show again, because
Williams did not like the way the talk show host quote "spun" the show.
On Monday, McGraw released a statement that said, "Ted was given the chance to voluntarily
enter a drug rehabilitation facility in order to help him in dealing with his dependency on drugs
and alcohol. In that it is voluntary, the decision to remain in treatment is Ted's to make.
We certainly hope that he continues his commitment to sobriety, and we will continue to help and
support him in any way that we can. We wish him well."
On Jan. 12, Williams' management company, Battle Plan Promotions, issued a news release that
said all events had been canceled to allow him time to "decompress, rest and get the professional
help that he needs."
"After consulting with several psychologists and doctors we all agree that (it's) time to
allow private healing to take place. Ted would like to express his sincere thanks for all the love
and support he has received," the news release said.
Williams made national headlines after a video appeared on the Columbus Dispatch Web site
about him.
The clip that was filmed by Columbus Dispatch videographer Doral Chenoweth III, showed
Williams standing near the ramp from Hudson Street and Interstate 71, demonstrating his
voice.
A sign he held read, "I'm an ex-radio announcer who has fallen on hard times."
