A sex offender ordered into treatment is wanted by Richland County authorities for failing to get help and failing to register as a sex offender.

Juan Jose Gonzales is a Tier II sex offender whose victim was a 13-year-old girl, CrimeTracker 10's Angela An reported on Tuesday.

Gonzales was convicted in 2005 for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

He was ordered into a treatment program for sex offenders but after less than three months, he fled, An reported.
